Tin will tarnish over time as with any metal. To restore it to its former glory you can clean it with warm soapy water (washing up liquid is ideal!) and dry it thoroughly then bush with a soft non-abrasive cloth.

If it still needs a little more attention we would recomend a non abrasive metal cleaner such as Autosol which is readily available. just give it a polish with a tiny amount then buff with a soft cloth.

We also offer a complimentary polishing service where we just ask you to cover the cost of postage both ways, or you can drop it off at our shop in Wadebridge.

Some items with enamel or certain stones can't be put through our polisher so we would ask that you drop us a quick e-mail first just to check.
